Ethiopia - Wild Landscape and Modest People
We participated in the Meskel celebrations with the Gurage Kebena people, traversed the Simiem Mountains after the rainy season, along green and flowering slopes, and visited the rock-hewn churches of Lalibela. I admired the simplicity of local life. I traveled to Ethiopia in September and October 2012.
