"The Black Mountains" in Northern Edom
In the northern part of Edom Mountains, north of Petra, a dark massif rises. We admired the magmatic rocks - red-grey plutonic rocks, black volcanic rocks, together with white Disi and red Um-Ishrin formations. We walked between remnants of ancient forests, and slid down the cascading wadis. The pictures were taken during several trips, the most recent on April 2014.
